 Di sebuah kampung ada sebuah keluarga yang serba kekurangan, mereka hanya makan satu kali sehari. Yang mencari nafkan dirumah itu adalah seorang  bapak yang berumur 50 tahun  ia bernama bapak solihin, ia mempunyai 5 orang anak. Bapak itu bekerja sebagai seorang petani.

         

Pada suatu hari anaknya meminta uang kepada ayahnya  karena anaknya belum membayar uang sekolah  selama tiga bulan. Ia pun bekerja keras  agar anaknya tidak putus sekolah dan agar anaknya mendapat masa depan yang cerah.

         

Sepuluh tahun kemudian bapak solihin sangat bahagia sekali karena semua anaknya sukses,  anak pertamanya menjadi seorang dokter, anak keduannya menjadi pejabat pemerintahan, anak ketiga menjadi seorang artis dan dua anaknya yang lainnya  baru lulus di perguruan tinggi  dengan nilai yang memuaskan. Dan akhirnya mereka pun hidup bahagia.
